Breaking News: NEXT DOCTOR!!!

There is officially, a named successor to David Tennant as the Doctor (from the BBC show, Doctor Who). *Matt Smith is going to be the elventh doctor. Matt beat out such options as a black doctor, a woman doctor, and James McAvoy. I'm sorry, Matt, but I don't imagine you can ever be as good as David Tennant or Christopher Eccleston. But this is VERY excting news. I am VERY excited!!! :D

Different Doctor Who Theme Song(s)

Let's see... I was playing T.V. theme songs on my saxophone, and I as I was playing the theme from St. Elsewhere, I began to miss Doctor Who. I decided to go on YouTube and add the "good version" (from 2005-2007 roughly) to my Youtube favorites. However, when I searched "Doctor Who Theme" there were so many versions I just couldn't get the right one! So now, I am going to put up as many versions of the Doctor Who theme as I can find... What I've been watching lately #1

In alphabetical order:

Baseball Tonight (on ESPN)

Doctor Who

Pass Time (A game show on Speed Channel where contestants try to guess how fast various cars can go on a quarter-mile track)

Pinks (People racing to win each other's vehicles. Also on Speed Channel)

Pinks: All Out (A spin off of Pinks where they have a tournament to pick the fastest vehicle)

Premier League Fan Zone (They re-show a match from the previous weekend, but this time instead of real announcers they have the commentary done by a fan from each team)

That Premier League Review Show they show on Sunday after the matches are over. It has lots of highlights and excerpts and they always interview the managers in front of those same cardboard backgrounds. I'm not sure what it's really called.

Match Report: Chelsea 3 - Liverpool 2 (Extra Time)

It appeared to be raining quite hard.

All the goals were scored at the same end of the field.

There were more goals in the 30+ minutes of extra time than during the 90+ minutes of regular time.

In the Doctor Who episode "Smith and Jones" - the one where the Doctor first meets Martha - there are creatures called the Judoon who are basically some sort of inter-galatic rhinoceros police officers. These creatures are clearly patterned on the likeness of Chelsea manager Avram Grant.

Liverpool's Mascherano still looks like my cat.

The game was actually quite exciting and would have been satisfying except for the fact that Liverpool lost.

Liverpool's fans (and normal people from Liverpool as well) are known as Scousers.

My favorite moment was when Michael Essien's goal was dis-allowed due to Drogba being offside and interfering with the keeper.

Chelsea better beat Man Utd.
