At least the titles are interesting ... but those can be tough to live up to. Julian Rubenstein, in particular, has his work cut out for him. Why'd ya ditch the Smothers Brothers? From his work on NPR, David Bianculli seems like a thoughtful cultural critic.

The Smothers Brothers was actually pretty interesting; I just got so busy that I kind of gave up on it. As for the Rubenstein book, the best part of it was the title.
