Berlusconi attacked

The man above (identified as Massimo Tartaglia) attacked Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in Milan today, either by hitting him with a small souvenir statue or throwing it from a close distance. Berlusconi suffered a broken nose and some damage to his teeth, but was otherwise unhurt. The man's motives are not known-- hopefully he is not an AC Milan fan upset by the team's poor performance against Palermo.

Another official announcement from AC Milan

Yesterday, Alessandro Nesta scored twice on headers to lead Milan to a 2-1 victory at Chievo. Today, AC Milan made this announcement on their website:

MILAN - A.C. Milan communicate that the footballer Alessandro Nesta was subjected to the reduction of a small fracture in his nasal bones by dr. Paolo Marconi. The Rossoneri player will be regularly available for tomorrow's training, ahead of the match in Naples.

Joachim Low - Armpit Smelling and Nose Picking

Joachim Low, coach of the German national team, was suspended for the Germans' quarterfinal match against Portugal and had to watch the game from high above in one of the luxury boxes. While his team was down on the field winning, Low was captured live on worldwide television picking his nose. While we couldn't find footage of that event, we can share this short video of highlights of Low's other efforts...
